The Fonds Ricoeur (Ricoeur Collection) organizes seminars and days which relate to the work and the thought of Paul Ricœur, or to the themes and questions that explore them.
The Fonds Ricœur days, which are sometimes more like colloquia, are at present the main activities of the Fonds Ricoeur. They attract a wide audience that varies according to the theme.
For several years the seminar “Questions of hermeneutics and contemporary ethics” has been bringing together researchers who examine hermeneutical and ethical questions in the broader sense. This seminar alternates with the seminar organised at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales with Sabina Loriga, around themes that combine ethics and history. This seminar and these days provide a natural haven for all researchers from many different countries who are drawn to the Fonds Ricœur. They may be about the work and the thought of Paul Ricœur, or relate to the themes and questions that explore them. Focusing on these two aspects, the Fonds Ricœur endeavours to mesh the voices of new researchers with those of already acknowledged reputation.
Other activities will be considered with various partners, and the Fonds Ricoeur is open to all projects, be they short or long term.
